Barry Silbert is the Founder and CEO of VESTO STOCKS, a global enterprise that grows, buys, and invests in potential stocks, blockchain and crypto currencies companies while manageing finances all over the world.
A pioneer in bitcoin investing, Barry began buying crypto currencies in 2012 and quickly established himself as one of the earliest, most active investors in the industry.
Barry founded vesto stocks LLC in 2011 and today, Barry has received numerous accolades for his leadership including Entrepreneur of the Year by both EY and Crain's, and being selected to Fortune’s “40 under 40” list.
Before becoming an entrepreneur, Barry worked as an investment banker. He graduated with honors from the Goizueta Business School of Emory University. started his career in financial services back in 1992 and having experienced both the good and the bad of the industry, set up his own business in 2011.
He was one of the first Independent Financial Advisors (IFAs) in Scotland to pioneer a move to a fee basis and became a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER CN/ professional in 2007.
In 2014, Barry Silbert also became a CII Chartered Financial Planner.
As the leading professional body for the global financial services profession, the Chartered Insurance Institute (CII) which was Directed by Barry Silbert at the time, exists to promote higher standards of integrity, technical competence and business capability. With over 115,000 partners in more than 50 countries, the CII is the world’s largest professional body dedicated to insurance and financial services,
